Disney Luggage and a few other items

•  Disney Gift Cards-  You will receive a $25 gift card each day that you are in the park for food or souvenirs.  If you spend $20, you will still have $5 left over that can be used the next day or the next day, etc.  If you don’t spend all of your money by the end of the trip, these gift cards can be used to purchase Disney merchandise from their website.  You paid for these cards, so keep track of them!  Don’t throw away a card just because it only has a dollar left on it.  Combine it with another card!

•  Each student may bring 1 small carry on and 1 suitcase for under the bus.  Please put your clothes for the first day on your carryon (there will be no access to the luggage underneath the bus until we check in to the hotel at the end of the first day in the park!)  We will stop at the Florida Welcome Center/Rest Stop which has bathrooms if you wish to change.  Please don’t plan to change clothes on the bus.

•  It’s a REALLY good idea to bring a mask or two just in case.  There are a lot of viruses running around right now, and we will all be in close proximity on the buses.  If you end up showing symptoms on the trip, masking up will protect those around you from becoming sick.

•  If you are showing any symptoms of flu, covid, etc please alert us as soon as possible.  We have will have covid tests that you can take.  It will be really unfortunate if anyone gets sick on this trip.  It will be REALLY REALLY REALLY unfortunate if we have 50 kids get sick because you were afraid to let someone know.  Stay healthy!

•  Make sure each bag has a luggage tag.  We have tags available in the band office if you need one.

•  So far, the weather looks awesome!  While you continue to monitor the forecast for packing purposes, also keep in mind that the bus can get chilly overnight.  If you want to pack a small travel blanket and pillow in your carry on, feel free.

•  Your band shirt, socks, and whatever you want to wear under your uniform will be collected one day next week during mod 17/18.  These will be packed in your uniform garment bag so you don’t forget these items.  More info coming soon!

•  Please remember that the prescription due date is this coming Monday.  Make sure prescriptions are clearly labeled and in a container or ziplock bag.  Turn these in to Mr. Smith on Monday.  If you have any questions, come see me or send an email.

•  Solo and ensemble forms/payments are due on Monday, December 12th!
