3rd Annual Mattress Sale!

Tired of tossing and turning with La Pantera stuck in your head?  Come on out and support the Perry Bands by purchasing a new mattress on September 14th, from 10AM-5PM in the PHS Aux. Gym!  All proceeds will go directly toward the Perry Bands!  Print out this flyer and share with friends/family for an extra discount!  Students using flyers as a referral, please be sure your first AND last names are written clearly!

Disney Payments/Room List

A list will be posted today of trip participants who have up to date account balances.  As of today, your account should be paid up to a minimum of $600.  If you are below this amount, you will not be permitted to sign up for a room.

Your account must be paid up to date by the end of next week in order to sign up for a room.  Please check with Noteworthy Tours if you are not aware of your account balance.

Friday Night vs CCCHS

1.  Doors open at 5:30 PM.

2.  The march down 13th St to Central begins at 6:05PM.  We will leave from PHS main entrance and march to Central Catholic.  We will return following the game via buses.

3.  If you haven’t checked off Halftime yet, you will again be in the stands for 3rd quarter.

4.  Show for Friday night is Phantom Opener, Time Warp, and We Are Family.

Attention Disney Chaperones and Students: Disney Update/Rooming Information

We will be signing up for rooms in the next two weeks for the Disney Trip.  Please read the following items so this goes smoothly!

1.  In order to sign up, you MUST be up to date on your payments.  Please check with the payment company this week to make sure you are up to date.  If your payments are not up to date, you will not be allowed to sign up and will be dropped from the trip list.

2.  Students will be housed in groups of 5.  Choose ONE person from your group/room to sign up all of your names in a room.  You must sign up in PEN, not pencil.  You may not cross any names off of the list.  Any student who crosses names off will be assigned a room instead of having a choice.

4.  We will do our best to honor your room choices.  If you end up with a room of 4, you may have someone assigned to your room.  We have a large group, and it is impossible to meet the wishes of everyone.

5.  THERE WILL BE NO CHANGES TO YOUR ROOM LIST AFTER YOU SIGN UP.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

6.  Chaperones:  Please email me your room requests by Wednesday of this week.  (Your name + the name of the person(s) you wish to room with)

Beginning Band Information

Beginning Band for All Pfeiffer 6th Graders
 
I am excited to invite all Pfeiffer 6th graders to become members of the band. In the coming weeks, all Pfeiffer 6th graders will have the opportunity to try all of the beginning band instruments including Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, and Percussion. No prior music experience is necessary and everyone is welcome to join. After the the students have tried each instrument they will bring home an enrollment form and you and your child can discuss the instrument they would like to play.
We have two parent meetings after the fittings. Both meetings are the same so it is only necessary to attend one of these meetings. The first meeting is on Tuesday, September 3rd and the second meeting is on Thursday, September 5th. Both meetings will be held in the Pfeiffer Cafeteria and will take place from 7:00 – 8:00 PM. There will be representatives from local music stores at these meetings who can help with obtaining an instrument.
