1. Wow. What a great first run of the contest show this past Friday! There is still much work to be done to be OMEA ready, but the staff is thrilled with the first performance.
2. Just The Way You Are should be checked off by Thursday, September 20th…just under 2 weeks away. We will be cleaning/reteaching that drill this week.
3. It’s 8th Grade Night Week! 8th graders will be joining us for rehearsal on Thursday, and at the game on Friday. Let’s give them a great first impression of HS band!
4. Saturday is the Mattress Sale! Time slots will be up this week. Please sign your group up for a time slot. We will discuss rules with you this week. We would ask that each group ask a parent to supervise you during your time slot for safety reasons. Help spread the word to buy a mattress from the Perry Bands! Facebook it, Tweet it, Email it…get the word out!
5. Winds scale tests will begin 1 week from Monday. Bb, Eb, Ab, Db, Gb, and B. (not memorized)
