1. Pre Contest concert is this Monday, March 4th at 7:00PM in the HS Gym. Symphonic Winds members should be in their seats no later than 6:15PM for group pictures. Concert Band members should be in their seats no later than 6:25PM. If you wish to take video or photos at this performance, that is acceptable. No recording or photography of any kind is permitted at contest by OMEA. Groups will be disqualified if this occurs.
2. District Contest is Friday, March 8th, at John Glenn High School in New Concord, OH. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend to support your students and the Perry Bands.
Concert Band- Arrive at PHS no later than 4:00PM. Busses roll at 4:15. Perform at 7:15PM. Arrive back at PHS at 10:00PM.
Symphonic Winds- Arrive at PHS no later than 6:50PM. Busses roll at 7:15PM. Perform at 10:10PM. Arrive back at PHS around 1:00AM.
3. We are sold out of bow ties! All Concert Band and Symphonic Winds members must have a bow tie for the pre Contest Concert and for District Contest. Bow ties can be purchased an many local department stores and tux shops. You will want to get a pre-tied, black bow tie with the wrap around strap. Do not by a “real” bow tie(that you have to tie yourself) or a clip on without the strap.
