3. State Finals at Dayton Welcome Stadium this Sunday! The PHSMB will perform at 2:15PM.
- Doors open at 8:30AM
- Buses roll at 9:00AM
- We will stop at Tuttle Crossing Mall Food Court for dinner on the way home. Eat a good breakfast as we will not have time to stop for lunch on the way down.
- We should not arrive home any later than 8:30PM, hopefully earlier. Please ask your child to text you an ETA as we get closer to home. We will remind them to do so as well.

5. On Saturday, we toured the OMEA Conference facility in Cleveland. Our venue looks fantastic and we are expecting a packed house! Over the next month, some very important info about attending this performance will be shared with you. The biggest concern is going to be parking near the Convention Center for parents. We want to have a huge audience for this performance, and are encouraging all parents to attend. However, we will need to do some planning in order to avoid frustration and confusing in regards to parking. These issues will be discussed at the December 8th Band Booster meeting, and we are encouraging all Symphonic Winds parents who will attend our performance to attend. Please be advised that parking near the Cleveland Convention Center is going to be at a premium. OMEA is encouraging all parent spectators to park in the Municipal Lot near Browns Stadium. If you’ve been to this area, you will know that this is quite a hike, especially in February! OMEA will be running shuttle buses from the Muni Lot to the Convention Center for all parents. A bus will leave every 1/2 hour from the lot. You will want to plan your day so you can arrive a few hours early. More information and details will be forthcoming as we receive more info!
