• I absolutely 110 percent can’t wait to see all of you next week! I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited to start rehearsals.
• The Stark County Fair Band Show has been canceled.
• It’s important that you review our guidelines that we put out a few weeks ago. Please follow them. It will feel a little weird and different at first, but it’s really not. We all need to be mindful and do our part to make sure we can to have a season. I do not know what the future holds, but I do know that we need to do everything in our power to stay safe and do what we can to give us a chance at having a season. Wear a mask.
• Bring water! And make sure you arrive at the parking lot by the stadium by 7AM.
• Since we will not have access to the building, we will monitor the forecast. When there is excessive heat forecast, we will shorten our rehearsals to 7AM-9AM. Decisions on this will be made the day before any possible cancellation. Please check the website daily.
• Water!
• When inclement weather is forecast, we will cancel rehearsals. I will do my best to make this announcement the evening before any cancellation.
• Sunscreen!
• There will be minor inconveniences that pop up from time to time. Stay patient while we navigate this together. And remember to enjoy every second that we are all together.
• Wear sunscreen! H20!
• I suggest eating a light breakfast each morning. Please don’t show up on an empty stomach. Also, please don’t eat 23 pancakes and 10 pounds of sausage before rehearsal. You will not feel well.
• YOU MUST TAKE YOUR TEMPERATURE EACH MORNING BEFORE YOU SHOW UP TO REHEARSAL. We will be asking each one of you so we can keep an accurate record. Make sure you know the COVID-19 symptoms, that we posted on July 1st. If you have a fever, or are experiencing symptoms, please do not come to rehearsals. You will not be penalized.
